Spotter is an application designed by MRL for allowing consumers to share their exposure to predefined content wherever they are and throughout their day.

This service based on the Spotter, spans across consumer mobile devices and dedicated back-end computing resources with an emphasize on privacy and security throughout the process. The service is carried out in a highly resilient and secured manner, by creating unique irreversible fingerprints which cannot be transformed back into audio. The Fingerprints are generated from short audio samples captured by the mobile device which are immediately erased after the fingerprint is created, matching against fingerprinted references is done on the phone, and the results are securely sent to the server.
